This is such an easy project to do yourself. The supplies are cheap too! All the craft stores around me have constant sales so my wreath ended up being under $10. I thought it would be fun to do with family around the holidays so I’m sharing the steps for how to create them below!
Supplies: scissors and/or wire cutters, floral wire, greenery (fresh or fake), macrame ring (I’m using size 12 inch here), yarn of your choice, hot glue gun optional
If you are using fresh greens, trim a few branches to help you get a layout of the wreath. If you are using fake greens, you likely will be able to simply slide them off the stem! Otherwise, use scissors or wire cutters to trim them.
Measure out the length of the yarn and cut a long enough piece to make 2 conected strands.
Once you have all the yarn meaused out and the greens that you would like to use line up the yarn under the bottom of your ring.
The knot that I ended up using is super simple and can be seen below.
Anyting after this point is super easy. I picked out my favorite green pieces and cut a few 2 inch pieces of green wire and secured all my green pieces. Any other parts that were too hard to wrap I used my hot glue gun.
This honestly ended up being my favorite DIY that I've done. Hopefully you'll love it as much as I do.
