Take a Walk
I feel like I say this all the time but being outside is the best part of my day.Clearing my head and just enjoying the environment around me. A bonus, you're technically exercising.
Connect with a friend
If you're lucky enough to work by a friend like I am try to make sometime to connect with them. Some of my best work day's I've gotten a chance to get out of the office to spend time with friends, you would be surprised how much positivity a conversation with a friend.
Grab a cup or your favorite coffee or tea and pair it with your favorite small treat. A cookie? or a macaroon if it suits your fancy, is the perfect combination. And the perfect remedy for an afternoon slump. Take your midday break seriously and seriously enjoy it!
Put on some up beat music to get you energized. There are plenty of studies out there that show music can change a persons mood. Find your favorite happy album and dance around if you can.
